Garden of Time-Dreaming was a composition on the grounds of the Castle
of Linz at the location where Johannes Keppler wrote his book about
the Harmonica Mundis, the harmony or the spheres. The outdoor sound
cosmology O+A created was interactive with visitors to the grounds and
with passing traffic. Orbits were created of sounds representing the
feelings of the planets both in modern times and at Kepler's time.
A computer mixing matrix called the Brain ran an interactive mix for
nine months. Large screen Sound movies were shown on the 1000 year
old defence wall. The installation created the feeling of falling
backwards and forwards in time across the border between Alchemy
and Science.
