14 One could make quite a list. Kathy Acker was a memorable guest : we wrote a song together called Lady Be Bad. With Robert Filliou we produced a tribute to the Dogon people which involved people on bicycles shouting Poi Poi Poi Poi! With Willoughby Sharp we went all night, with a direct line connecting the Grand Luxe to the outside world. Listeners would call in and ask for a tune, the band would play it and the caller would sing. The live line was quite useful. Co-op would broadcast Monday night poetry live from the Western Front (and live Vancouver music from Rohan's Rockpile on Friday nights too). ÑHB
